CHARTS: The Witcher 3 slays its way to the top spot

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt fought its way back to the top of the first Steam Top Ten of 2020.

The first of three entries for Capcom is pre-orders for Monster Hunter World's Iceborne DLC in fourth place, which is set to be released on January 9th. The Digital Deluxe version is also charted this week, it took the No.9 spot.

Continuing its run in the charts is EA's Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order at No.5, it is currently on offer with 17 per cent off. Since the game launched, Respawn has been hiring new Star Wars developers, it is thought they will work on DLC for Fallen Order.

The latest Star Wars game also proved to be EA's most successful title in the franchise at launch, according to the publisher.

PUBG Corp has claimed the No.6 spot with its ever-popular battle royale, Playerunknown's Battlegrounds. PUBG's creator. Brendan "Playerunknown" Greene has announced new IP Prologue.

At No.7 is Activision's shinobi-Souls hybrid, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice was the Game of the Year winner at The Game Awards 2019. The game picked up a second Game of the Year, as voted for by the Steam community.

Closing out this week's chart is Halo: The Master Chief Collection. Upon launch in December, the title by Xbox Game Studios was amongst the most-played on Steam.
