Respawn hiring for more Star Wars developers following Jedi: Fallen Order launch

EA-owned studio Respawn is hiring more staff to work on the Star Wars IP.

As reported by GamesRadar, the Jedi: Fallen Order maker is recruiting for a senior character artist, level designer and senior software engineer on its Star Wars team. The ad for that last job makes reference that this is for an "incredible Star Wars experience" that is a "third-person action/adventure" title.

Whether these staff will be working on a new Star Wars project or DLC for Jedi: Fallen Order isn't clear just yet. Given that it's only been weeks since that title launched, it's likely that this is for expansion content for the single-player adventure.

Jedi: Fallen Order launched at the end of November with publisher EA announcing after its release that it was the company's top-selling Star Wars PC launch week. The firm didn't really back that claim up with any data or subsequent information, however.

The project's release follows Electronic Arts cancelling three other single-player games; Visceral's Ragtag, EA Vancouver's subsequent project - codenamed Orca - and whatever the firm's Motive studio was working on.
