CHARTS: Valve's Index VR Kit returns to the top of the Steam chart

Valve's Index VR kit reclaimed the top spot in the Steam chart last week.

Last month, the American firm confirmed that the coronavirus had impacted production for its hardware. Valve confirmed more stock would be made available on March 9th. However, the units were sold out within 24 hours.

In second place this week is Borderlands 3. 2K's title came to Steam on March 13th following six months as an exclusive title on Epic's newly-launched Game Store. Last month, a now-deleted tweet revealed that Eli Roth could be directing a film based on the looter-shooter. The game is currently on offer with 50 per cent off.

At No.4 is the recently released Ori and the Will of the Wisps. Ubisoft claimed fifth place with the Year 5 Season Pass for Rainbow Six Siege. In February, the French publisher revealed it wants to make the game more accessible to colourblind players. That same month, the online shooter saw a new peak player count record.

In sixth place is the upcoming title Doom Eternal. The latest game in the hellish series will be released on March 20th. The team behind Bethesda's title was crunching for most of 2019. At No.7 is new title Granblue Fantasy: Versus, the RPG-Fighting hybrid was released on March 30th.

Finishing the chart this week is State of Decay Juggernaut Edition. Xbox Game Studio's zombie-infested title came to Valve's storefront on March 13th.
