Valve's Index VR kits will be back in stock on March 9th.
As revealed on Twitter (below), not only will the hardware be for sale on Monday, it is expected that it will also sell out the same day.
"Due to high demand, we expect available stock to sell out on Monday," said Valve in a statement.
"All purchases beyond this initial quantity will be fulfilled in the order in which they are received, as supplies increase over the coming months."
Unfortunately, this indicates that if you do not own the hardware now nor get one on March 9th, it is unlikely that you will receive the kit in time for the release of Half-Life: Alyx.
Last month, it was revealed that the coronavirus had impacted the production of the Index VR kit. The aim was to get stock in time for March 23rd, the release date for Half-Life: Alyx.
The new Half-Life title was rumoured to be in the works in November 2019. Not long after, Valve confirmed the game was real and that it would appear at The Game Awards 2019. Half-Life: Alyx will be a VR exclusive.
Official mail with this information went out but it still lists the wrong UTC time. Correct time should be 6PM/18:00 UTC. pic.twitter.com/eGQ0knH8fs
