CHARTS: Oblivion remaster shoots to No.1 on Steam debut

The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered was the highest grossing game on Steam last week.

The long-rumoured and surprise dropped title launched on April 22nd and was met with a positive reception upon its release. It outsold Counter-Strike 2, which had to settle for second place this week.

Another new release – and fellow RPG – Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 also made its debut last week and was the third biggest seller. Valve's Steam Deck hardware was once again in the No.4 spot, coming in ahead of Early Access crime romp Schedule 1, which dropped two positions to fifth.

雀魂麻將(MahjongSoul) returned to the Steam Top 100 seemingly thanks to a new limited time crossover event with visual novel Fate Stay Night. That title came in at No.6, which Early Access horror title REPO fell one position to seventh. PUBG: Battlegrounds came in at No.8 – up two spots – while Once Human Returned to the Top Ten in ninth, up 62 places on last week. Rounding off the Top Ten is NetEase's Marvel Rivals, which fell three positions to tenth.

Here is the Steam Top Ten for the week ending April 29th:

1. The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered, Bethesda
2. Counter-Strike 2, Valve
3. Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, Kepler
4. Steam Deck, Valve
5. Schedule 1, TVGS
6. 雀魂麻將(MahjongSoul), Catfood Studio
