Borderlands 3 launches on Stadia without end-game content

Borderlands 3 has launched on Google Stadia but it is not up to date with other platforms.

According to Gearbox's official website, the Stadia version of its looter-shooter only has the updates that were received between release and October 24th.

The end-game content missing from Borderlands 3 on the streaming platform includes the Takedown at the Maliwan Blacksite and the Mayhem 4 difficulty. All editions of the game are expected to be equal in early 2020.

Borderlands 3 has a special launch price on Stadia until January 7th 2020.

It is claimed that Borderlands 3 can be played in 4K on Stadia, however, it is worth noting that consumers have complained about Google not delivering on its 4K promises.

Further problems with the new platform include Chromecasts overheating. On top of this, several features that Google promised are missing from the service. Reportedly, these features are being added from the end of this year through 2020.

The new streaming service was launched on November 19th, it had 22 games at launch.

Recently, Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition and Farming Simulator 2019 have been added to the Pro subscription service, they joined Destiny 2 and Samurai Shodown.
