Multiversus vets found new studio Airlock Games

Former top staff from Multiversus developer Player First have founded a new studio called Airlock Games.

This new venture has been set up by former technical director Brock Feldman and production director Justin Fisher, who are now CTO and CEO, respectively. According to LinkedIn at least, they are the studio's only staff for the time being.

Their first project is horror management sim title What the Stars Forgot, which is currently on Kickstarter and is set to launch into Early Access over on Steam.

“We’ve spent years working on high-profile triple-A titles, but we missed the wonderful, reckless creativity of more focused games," the duo wrote.

"It's a space where we can focus on providing new experiences that interest us both as players and developers. We're so excited to have the freedom to take creative risks, push boundaries, and tell stories that just aren't feasible for triple-A productions.”

Player First was closed in February of this year just seven months after being acquired by Warner Bros.
