Steel City sets up new studio in Leamington Spa

Undisputed maker Steel City has set up a brand new studio in Leamington Spa, UK.

The venture has hired head of art Nathan Fisher, head of marketing and comms Alison Beasley, head of tech Sylvain Cornillon, head of QA Todd Matherne and head of people and culture Anna Lapworth.

Steel City Interactive is the developer of boxing title Undisputed, which launched in October 2024. This Leamington Spa studio will be working alongside the company's Sheffield headquarters.

“As we build on the success of Undisputed and look to the future of the franchise, we wanted a second location that would attract senior talent and strengthen our studio network alongside our HQ in Sheffield – Leamington Spa fits these criteria,” VP of studio Tim Coupe said.

VP of product development Clive Moody added: “Leamington Spa has played a key role in game development in the UK. We’re delighted to join our fellow game studios in what is one of the country’s most exciting and innovative areas for game development.”
