Psygnosis vets found new studio Starlight Games

Two veterans of Psygnosis have founded a brand new studio called Starlight Games.

As reported by VGC, the new venture was founded by Gary Nichols, who previously worked at the Wipeout maker, while the futuristic racing franchise's co-creator Nick Burcombe is also working at the developer.

Also present at Starlight is producer Andy Santos, who has previously co-created the Skate series for EA, as well as working on Resident Evil: Operation Racoon City.

The company is apparently working on three new games; one of these is House of Golf 2, while the Burcombe is directing a new futuristic sports title. Rounding off the trio is a sci-fi roguelike game.

“Our vision is to foster a creative ecosystem where talent can flourish and dreams can be turned into reality,” Nichols said. “We want to provide the platform and resources for young talent to thrive and leave a lasting impact on the industry.”
