Prague-based developer and publisher Bohemia Interactive has closed its Bratislava studio.
As announced on Twitter (below), despite the closure, work on DayZ will continue. The development will continue as roadmapped in January.
"We recently closed our Bratislava studio. It was a mutual decision between management and studio leads, and we want to thank all team members for their contribution," said Bohemia Interactive.
"This decision won't affect the future development of DayZ."
In August 2019, the zombie survival game had its classification reinstated in Australia. It was first banned due to cannabis being used to boost player statistics. Upon entering beta in November 2018, the game sold four million copies in one week.
At the Steam awards 2019, Bohemia Interactive's title took home the Better with Friends accolade.
