Build a Rocket Boy loses two c-suite execs ahead of MindsEye launch

Build a Rocket Boy loses two c-suite execs ahead of MindsEye launch

The developer of MindsEye, Build a Rocket Boy, has lost two senior executives ahead of its debut game's launch.

As spotted by Eurogamer, chief legal officer Riley Graebner announced his departure on LinkedIn, saying that he was proud of what the studio has accomplished so far.

"After three and a half year, my time at BARB has come to a close," he wrote.

"I’m proud of what we’ve accomplished. During that time we more than doubled the size of the company to over 450 employees. We launched multiple products worldwide. We built the legal team and legal ops infrastructure from the ground up, working to systemise and automate.

He continued: "I’m beyond excited for what’s next - but currently operating in stealth mode for a while longer. Stay tuned."

Meanwhile, chief financial officer Paul Bland has also left the studio two years after he joined.

All of which could be fairly innocuous, but it sure isn't a great look so close to Build a Rocket Boy's first project, MindsEye, hitting shelves. There's also the small matter of co-CEO Mark Gerhard saying that negative sentiment towards the project was being paid for by someone, without providing any evidence to support this.
