Split Fiction has sold 4m copies

Co-op romp Split Fiction has shifted over four million copies so far.

The news comes via publisher Electronic Arts, which revealed the sales milestone in its financials for the three months ending March 2025. The firm said that Split Fiction was a "hugely successful launch".

"This incredible title overperformed our expectations, captured global attention, and to date has reached nearly 4 million units sold," EA CEO Andrew Wilson said.

"This success is proof that shared experiences paired with great stories and varied gameplay have the power to break through and capture the imaginations of people around the world."

Developer Hazelight, meanwhile, took to Twitter to announce the sales milestone.

"So many of you have picked up Split Fiction already, it’s amazing," the studio wrote.

"Seeing the fun you have with our game and the love you show for Mio, Zoe and each other warms our hearts here at Hazelight."

Split Fiction sold one million copies in its first 48 hours, before hitting two million units within its first week. There's a film adaptation of the co-op title in the works, reportedly.
