Developer Hazelight's co-op romp It Takes Two has shifted more than two million copies since its debut in March.
The studio revealed the news on Twitter, thanking its audience for their support and pointing out the huge number of co-op game fans that are out there. It Takes Two was released at the end of March and within a month had surpassed one million copies sold.
"We’re simply amazed by the PASSION you wonderful people have shown our game," Hazelight said.
"And we couldn’t be happier seeing so many fans of co-op out there"
It Takes Two was the best-selling title on Steam in its third week on the market. Ahead of launch, the game's director – Josef Fares – said that he'd give anyone who got bored of It Takes Two $1,000. We don't know if anyone has asked or if Fares has followed through on this promise.
It Takes Two was published by Electronic Arts' EA Originals label.
