It Takes Two surpasses 20m sales

Co-op romp It Takes Two has shifted more than 20 million copies since its 2021 debut.

That's according to developer Hazelight, which took to Twitter to reveal the milestone and thank the game's fanbase. At last official count in March, It Takes Two has shifted 16 million units, meaning that the game has sold four million copies in the last seven months. Not bad.

"You’re the best fans in the world, how you have embraced our game is blowing our minds," the studio wrote on Twitter.

We’re so grateful to every one of the millions upon millions who have enjoyed their time with Cody and May."

Meanwhile, the game's writer and director, Josef Fares, has said that this is "beyond my wildest dreams."

It Takes Two came out March 2021 to critical and commercial acclaim. There's a movie in the works over at Amazon that seemingly will star Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.
