Innersloth's surprise multiplayer hit Among Us has once again taken the No.1 spot on Steam.
This is the second week in a row that the title has been the best-selling release on the platform and comes after a sudden wave of success towards the end of the summer. Developer Innersloth has cancelled work on a sequel to help support the original launch, which debuted back in 2018.
Valve's Index VR kit rose one place in the last week, while Mediatonic's Fall Guys dropped to the No.3 spot. Research firm SuperData reckons that the chaotic and colourful game was the highest-earning PC launch since 2016's Overwatch.
Meanwhile, Hades, the latest title from beloved indie studio Supergiant, rose three places to No.4 following its 1.0 launch and release on Nintendo Switch. The game has sold more than one million copies to date, with 700,000 of these being during the project's Early Access phase.
2K's Mafia: Definitive Edition debuted in fifth place ahead of Medieval Dynasty from Toplitz Productions, which holds steady at No.6. 2017's Nier Automata returns to the Top Ten following a sale from publisher Square Enix and the firm showing off a remake of the game's predecessor, Nier Replicant, at Tokyo Game Show last week. As of this month, the title has sold more than 4.85m units worldwide.
The new Origins update for No Man's Sky brings Hello Games' title back into the charts at No.8, just ahead of Rockstar's cowboy romp Red Dead Redemption 2, which was on sale last week. Closing up the Top Ten are pre-orders for eagerly-anticipated sci-fi RPG Cyberpunk 2077 following a promotional livestream for the title.
