Multiplayer smash hit Among Us has become one of the most popular games on streaming platform Twitch.
That's according to stats from data platform SullyGnome, which reports that the title has been watched for a huge 137,935,565 hours during the last 30 days and 9,851,011 hours in the last three days.
Among Us is third only to the Just Chatting category and Riot's hugely popular MOBA League of Legends in terms of popularity on Twitch. It's also outperforming blockbuster titles like Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, Fortnite and Grand Theft Auto V on the streaming platform.
Among Us was released back in 2018 but saw a sudden surge of popularity towards the end of the summer of this year. In September, the title attracted 1.5m concurrent users, before topping the Steam charts later that month. It managed to hold the No.1 spot for three weeks before being deposed.
Developer Innersloth has cancelled work on a sequel in order to focus on the original game, bringing updates to Among Us rather than its follow-up. The studio has also moved to fight cheating in the title, too.
