Discover PC, console and XR gaming at the biggest industry conference of 2020

Europe’s biggest B2B games industry conference Pocket Gamer Connects returns to London on January 20th and 21st 2020, with a brand new event that adds PC, console and XR gaming.

While Pocket Gamer Connects has typically been a mobile-focused event, for 2020, it will celebrate all aspects of gaming. Building on the PC Connects conference from previous years, it adds talks and panels about console games to the mix. The newly expanded Big Screen Gaming stage will debut at Pocket Gamer Connects London in January, and is already shaping up to be a must-see event for developers, publishers and investors working in the PC and console space. You'll also learn more about the current VR, AR and XR scene, as Big Screen Gaming incorporates the best of previous years' VR Connects activities.

The new umbrella event is packed: Big Screen Gaming brings you six new tracks, 60 speakers and 40 sessions delivered by the likes of Riot Games, Super Evil Megacorp, Jagex, Green Man Gaming and many more. They will cover topics such as the current state of PC and console gaming, building IPs that last, and cross-platform publishing.

Games industry legend Ian Livingstone CBE will be speaking in London again this year.

Steel Media COO Dave Bradley says: "Importantly, Pocket Gamer Connects isn’t just about mobile any more. Taking place in London are partner conferences Big Screen Gaming (console and PC) and Blockchain Gamer LIVE! (blockchain), which are included in the ticket price. All three shows take place under one roof!"

The London team is revealing more details about PC, console and XR speakers every day, so make sure you bookmark the official Big Screen Gaming site.

Never break the chain

Also new for 2020, Blockchain Gamer LIVE! features four brand new tracks where 50 blockchain gaming experts from the likes of Animoca Brands, Pixowl, Blockchain Game Alliance, Blockchain Cuties and more will share their expertise - from blockchain basics to game design knowhow to top trends and where the industry goes next.

That’s a total of 90+ hours of content and 2,500 attendees to meet using the free online meeting scheduler

It's an extension of the Blockchain Gamer Connects activity you've seen from previous events, expanded and extended. If you’re a blockchain gaming enthusiast, it's the place for you to meet the industry. But it's also the essential platform in London if you're curious about the blockchain scene - core insights await you in January.

Meanwhile, Pocket Gamer Connects itself - Europe’s biggest b2b event for the mobile games industry - returns with 15 incredible tracks, 120 sessions, 40 hours of content, and more than 200 world-class speakers. They will share their insight on everything from monetisation to the latest mobile trends, featuring the likes of Supercell, Zynga, Tencent, Rovio, King and more. The full speaker line-up will be published very soon at the official Pocket Gamer Connects site, where you can also read about the venue and the business-focussed fringe events.

Fringe events for PC and console developers include a dedicated version of the Indie Pitch.

Across all three events, that’s a total of 25 tracks, 310 speakers, 190 sessions, 90+ hours of content and over 2,500 attendees - you can connect with any of them using our free online meeting scheduler.
