CHARTS: Destiny 2 continues its raid on the Steam Top Ten

Bungie’s sci-fi shooter Destiny 2 has dominated the top of the Steam charts

Since launching Steam on October 1st, Destiny 2 has stormed the charts. Not only has Bungie took the top spot with the Digital Deluxe Edition of the new Shadowkeep DLC, but it has also secured both second and third place as well. The new Shadowkeep DLC sits at No.2, while Forsaken, the games first piece of DLC is No.3 in the Top Ten. Reportedly, since launching on Steam Destiny 2’s popularity has skyrocketed, with PC players currently make up 51 per cent of the games active users.

Though it has a huge price tag, Valve’s Index VR kit continues to sell well. The hardware has moved up four spaces this week into fourth place. Also climbing the chart this week is PUBG Corps widely popular battle royale Playerunknown's Battlegrounds - moving into the No.5 spot.

Bandai Namco’s anime-slash-Dark Souls hybrid Code Vein remains in Steam’s Top Ten. However, it continues to drop week-on-week, sitting in sixth place, dropping from No.4 last week.

Ever present in the Top Ten is Grand Theft Auto V. Rockstar’s title has moved up three spaces, taking seventh place in the chart. The publisher’s top-selling title will likely be joined by the highly-anticipated Red Dead Redemption 2, which launches on Steam in December following a launch on other platforms on November 5th.

Hello Games makes its return to Steam’s chart with its survival-exploration sci-fi title No Man’s Sky. With a 50 per cent off sale, the game charted at No.8. Also experiencing a sale is the Gathering Storm DLC for Civilization VI, with 25 per cent off 2K’s title holds ninth place.

505 Games closes the list with Indivisible. It was released on October 8th and is holding a promotional sale of 10 per cent off till November 1st.
