Nioh has sold two million copies

Team Ninja's Dark Souls meets Ninja Gaiden title Nioh has hit the two million sales mark.

The developer revealed the news via Twitter, thanking the game's community.

It's unclear how many of these sales are on PC. The game launched on PlayStation 4 at the end of 2016, with a PC edition launching in November 2017.

The Steam release, aka the Complete Edition alongside with all the project's DLC.

The game was in development for well over ten years, starting in 2004 and going through development hell until Team Ninja landing on what the game we know today was.
