Our globe-trotting indie developer competition is entering the PC space, and following our launch at Gamescom 2017, what better place to take the PC Indie Pitch next, than our brand new conference, PC Connects Helsinki 2017.

Based on our leading Big Indie Pitch and VR Indie Pitch events, this unique speed dating format gives each developer five minutes with each panel of experts, meaning entrants will get real feedback from the event. The winner will also get editorial coverage right here in our PC focused website PC Games Insider, alongside the chance to impress our other journalists in attendance, making this a great chance to get you, your studio and your game played by the world, alongside potentially winning a share of a Steel Media marketing package worth a massive $5,500.

What's more, any developer shortlisted to pitch at the event will also be granted free access to PC Connects Helsinki, including all of the talks and fringe events. We'll even have a limited amount of expo space to give away for those who apply early.

What? How? Who?

How it’ll work couldn’t be simpler. We’re inviting indie developers of all shapes and sizes along to pitch their games to our judges, which will include leading PC journalists, publishers, investors and industry experts.

Developers must pitch their games either via a video, or on Laptops, moving from one table of judges to the next. Around 10 developers will run the gauntlet, giving their all in quickfire 5-6 minute pitches to demonstrate that their title is worth the PC Indie Pitch crown, and coverage in the PC games media.

Wednesday 20th September 2017

• 1.00pm - Registration at the Main registration desk (you must come to get a wristband to pitch your game)
• 2.00pm - Introduction in the PC Indie Pitch area - Hall C
• 2.05pm - Start of the PC Indie Pitch
• 4.00pm - Approximate end of the PC Indie Pitch
• 5.30 pm – PC Indie Pitch Results announced - Track room F

We'll then review the entries and inform the finalists regarding their inclusion.

All submissions will be notified if they are successful in their application to pitch at the event. Please note that all entrants must be able to attend the event and Steel Media will not cover cover costs associated with getting to the event.

Deadline for submissions is September 16th (although the sooner the better as places are limited). All approved pitchers will be emailed confirmation closer to the event.
