Double Eleven appoints two co-CEOs

The founder of UK developer Double Eleven, Lee Hutchinson, is stepping down as CEO.

In a post on its website, the company announced that it would be proceeding with two co-chief execs; former CFO and commercial director Kimberly Turner and ex-COO Mark South.

Hutchinson is moving to the role of chairman of Double Eleven parent company Pneuma Group.

“Lee’s vision and leadership have been instrumental in Double Eleven’s journey from a small independent studio to an internationally respected developer and publisher,” Turner and South said in a statement.

“We are honoured to build on the legacy he created and excited to lead the Company into its next phase.

“This marks an important step in our continued growth, driven by our commitment to being a trusted partner and safe pair of hands for some of the most regarded games and developers in the industry, whether through full development, co-development, or publishing. And by continuing to support the talented people across the business who make it all possible.”

Hutchinson added: “I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve built and confident that under Kimberley and Mark’s leadership, Double Eleven will continue to thrive.”
