Bungie's Destiny 2 shot up five spots to No.3 on Steam last week thanks to the launch of The Edge of Fate expansion.
That launched on July 15th and appears to have been a solid contributor to the game's revenue, but has been somewhat marred by some errors and bugs that have left players annoyed. Counter-Strike 2 was once again the highest grossing title on Steam, while fellow free-to-play shooter PUBG: Battlegrounds took second place for another week.
Life simulation title Umamusume: Pretty Derby rose up 11 spots to No.4 on the back of a 60 per cent discount. Fellow Cygames title Shadowverse: Worlds Beyond also appears in the Top Ten in ninth place, up 74 positions, thanks to thanks to the launch of the new Infinity Evolved content. The free-to-play card game appears to have a solid fan base despite hilariously bad reviews.
Hero shooter Marvel rose one position to fifth, coming in ahead of Steam Deck which dropped two spots to No.6, while Peak holds steady in seventh. Free-to-play battle royale Apex Legends rose up six places to eighth on the back of a new mid-season patch, while RimWorld drops seven places to tenth.
