Services firm Side sets up Sao Paulo studio

Services and codevelopment specialist Side has set up a brand new studio in Brazil's Sao Paulo.

The firm says that the new office is a "state-of-the-art space" which will let the company double its operational workforce in South America within the next year.

This is Side's second studio in Sao Paulo after the company opened its first in the city in 2024.

“When we arrived in São Paulo, it was always our plan to enter the market and grow aggressively—that’s just in our company DNA,” Side CEO Deborah Kirkham said.

“With 50 per cent year-over-year growth, it’s safe to say we achieved that and then some. Side is now one of the largest full-service gaming services companies on the continent, and we have no plans of slowing down anytime soon.”

Side's VP of regional operations for the Americas, Sébastien Bisch, added: “The only way a studio achieves the kind of success we've had in the short time we’ve been in São Paulo happens when you recruit hyper motivated and qualified talent. In fact, we’ve already finalized plans to lease another floor in our new building—doubling us again in size—because of how much potential we see. The clients are here, the talent is here, and the growth for Side is definitely here.”
