PTW sets up new studio in South Carolina

Service firm PTW has set up shop in Charleston, South Carolina.

This new outfit is going to be designed for 'next-gen testing' in addition to other games services. The office will be led by studio head Bernhard Rieder, who will be reporting into PTW's VP of operations for the Americas, Sebastien Bisch.

This follows PTW acquiring Florida-based developer Ghostpunch for $13 million earlier this year

“To better serve our US-based partners, we understand the significance and importance of having a domestic QA solution; the synergies are invaluable. Charleston stood out as the ideal location – it’s a growing tech hub with the perfect blend of proximity and highly skilled talent,” Bisch said.

“PTW is excited to create a centre of excellence for the industry within the vibrant Charleston community, and we look forward to building a new flagship studio in the US.”
