Elden Ring hits 30m copies shipped

Action role-playing game Elden Ring has shipped over 30 million copies to date.

That's according to a post on the title's Twitter account in which the company thanked its players.

"Dearest Tarnished, we are profoundly thankful for your lasting devotion," the post read.

"May your path be forever guided by the Grace of Gold."

In a post on the Japanese Twitter account from developer FromSoftware, it was clarified that this figure represented copies shipped, not units sold.

In December 2024, Elden Ring hit 28.6 million copies shipped.

This means that Elden Ring has sold almost as many units as FromSoftware's previous flagship series, Dark Souls, as a whole, which has shifted over 39 million copies since its 2011 inception.
