Elden Ring has shipped 20m copies

From Software's Elden Ring has shipped over 20 million copies to date.

That's according to the developer's website, which reports that as of February 22nd, the title has sold in more than 20 million units around the world.

Taking to Twitter, the game's official account said: "Our heartfelt thanks for your support and companionship on this journey."

This huge milestone comes just under 12 months after Elden Ring's February 25th, 2022 release date. Just over two weeks after its initial launch, the game had sold 12 million copies, while by the end of the financial year it had sold 13.4 million units. That means that in 11 months, the game shipped around 6.6 million copies.
