Elden Ring has shifted over 13.4m copies

Action RPG Elden Ring has sold more 13.4 million copies to date.

That's according to publisher Bandai Namcospotted by Game Stalk – who revealed in its end of year financials that the game had shifted this many units as of March 31st. That means that the title had sold over 1.4 million copies in the second half of March, given that in mid-March it was revealed that Elden Ring had sold 12 million copies.

"It's astonishing to see just how many people have been playing Elden Ring," the boss of developer From Software, Hidetaka Miyazaki, said when the game reached that sales milestone.

"I'd like to extend our heartfelt thanks on behalf of the entire development team. We hope players enjoy a high level of freedom when adventuring through its vast world, exploring its many secrets, and facing up to its many threats. Thank you for your continued support.”

Obviously, another few weeks have passed since the end of March, meaning that Elden Ring sales are likely north of 13.4 million copies at this point. The title has made a constant appearance near the top of the Steam charts since its release, pointing to continued strong sales.
