Split Fiction hits 1m sales in 48 hours

The latest co-op title from Hazelight, Split Fiction, has shifted over one million copies so far.

The studio revealed the news on BlueSky (and maybe Twitter, too, but that website has literally been broken all day so who knows), saying that it had hit this sales milestone within its first 48 hours on sale.

"The love you all show for our game is overwhelming," Hazelight wrote.

"Everyone here at Hazelight are beyond happy - and we can’t stop enjoying your amazing reactions."

For context, Hazelight's previous release, It Takes Two, took close to one month to hit this many sales. Between its release back in March 2021 and October 2024, that title has sold over 20 million copies
