Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader hits 1m sales

Role-playing title Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trade has sold over one million copies to date.

That's according to developer Owlcat Games, which announced the milestone 13 months after its initial December 2023 release. That one million sales figure is across PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X and S.

“Reaching such a milestone in one year with our third game is a sign for us that we, as developers, are working in the right direction,” Owlcat Games studio head Oleg Shpilchevskiy said.

“Together with the fantastic team at Warhammer, we were able to create the СRPG of our dreams, one set in the grim dark future of the 41st millennium, and we will do our best to bring more stories to the endless universe of Warhammer 40,000.”

Owlcat opened a new publishing arm in August 2024. The label already has two titles in its stable.

Fellow Warhammer 40,000 title, Space Marine 2, hit five million sales in the three months following its September 2024 release.
