Owlcat Games opens publishing arm

Warhammer 40k: Rogue Trader maker Owlcat Games has moved into publishing.

The firm is going to be helping out indie studios that are making RPGs or narrative-driven titles. Owlcat's services for these developers include funding, advice and other services.

The company has signed two projects – Rue Valley from Serbia's Emotion Spark Studio and Another Angle Games from Poland. In addition to the above, Owlcat has taken over control of Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous firm Meta Publishing.

“We would like to work with teams that share our passion for telling captivating stories through narrative-driven games," Owlcat's head of publisher Andrey Tsvetkov said.

"These might not fall entirely into the RPG genre, but they will definitely have a solid focus on story, characters, and worldbuilding. We have already walked the path of creating our dream game, and now we have the expertise and resources to guide other teams to the games of their dreams as well."
