Jingle Jam raises $3.4m for charity

Livestreaming charity event Jingle Jam has raised £2.7 million ($3.4 milllion) over the course of two weeks.

The organisation says that this money will be going to eight charity partners, including War Child and Campaign Against Living Miserably. Jingle Jam 2024 took place between December 1st and 14th. Those who donated over £35 received a collection of games, which included Two Point Campus, For The King 2 and Wildfrost.

The eight charities and the amount being donated are as follows:

  • Autistica (£314,000)
  • CALM (£470,000)
  • Cool Earth (£280,000)
  • Sarcoma UK (£269,000)
  • The Trevor Project (£305,000)
  • War Child (£300,000)
  • Wallace and Gromit's Grand Appeal (£396,000)
  • Whale and Dolphin Conservation (£339,000)

“A huge thank you to all the viewers who donated generously to such wonderful causes, the developers and publishers who gave their games to the Collection for free and to all the creators who took part in this year’s Jingle Jam, putting together some of the most entertaining streams we’ve seen to date,” Jingle Jam trustees chair Rich Keith said.

Jingle Jam co-founder Lewis Brindley added: “Every year the Jingle Jam is an absolute joy to take part in. To see what the event has become over the past 13 years, and how much good it’s been able to support through money raised, makes my heart soar.

“Thank you to everyone who donated and took part - now the work starts on next year’s Jam.”
