Summer Games Done Quick 2025 raised $2.4m

The Summer Games Done Quick charity speedrunning event raised $2.4 million this year.

This year's event, which ran between July 6th and 13th, brought in $2,436,614 for Doctors Without Borders. Over 2,600 people attended the show, which took place at the Hilton Minneapolis in Minnesota.

Summer Games Done Quick 2025 featured titles including Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, Balatro, Super Mario Maker 2, Blue Prince, Mario Kart World and Beat Saber.

That $2.4 million is slightly less than the $2.5 million that Summer Games Done Quick raised in 2024.

In total, Games Done Quick has raised over $50 million for charities, including Doctors Without Borders and the Prevent Cancer Foundation.

In August 2024, Games Done Quick founder Mike Uyama departed the company and transferred ownership of the organisation to operations boss Matt Merkle.
