Tantalus and Keywords Australia boss steps down

The CEO of Tantalus and Keywords Australia, Tom Crago, is leaving his position.

In a statement to GI.biz, the exec said that he was leaving the company to engage with new pursuits. In addition to being the chief exec of Tantalus, Crago is also an entrepreneur, author, artist and restaurant owner, per his website.

Crago has played a big role in expanding Tantalus as it was acquired by Keywords and became Keywords Australia – staff has risen from 38 to 330 workers in the last four years.

"The decision to move on was far from easy," Crago said.

"It would be easier to stay and keep working with the team we have built, as Keywords continues its rapid rise under new ownership. Both in Australia and internationally, our people are the finest and kindest in the industry."

Keywords acquired Tantalus in 2021 in a deal worth up to $46.8 million
