Metaphor: ReFantazio has shifted 1m copies on its first day

Atlus' latest Japanese RPG title, Metaphor: ReFantazio has sold over one million copies since its debut. 

That's according to tweets from both Sega Japan and Atlus West, which indicate that this is the fastest selling Atlus game to date. The game launched on October 11th on PC, PlayStation and Xbox platforms. 

"Atlas' completely new fantasy RPG "Metaphor: ReFantasio" has surpassed 1 million copies sold worldwide," Sega wrote

"Metaphor: ReFantazio" has surpassed one million copies sold worldwide!

"The game has received high scores on various platforms, including a 93 point score on the PlayStation 5 version and a 93 point score on the Metacritic score." 

There's no word on how many sales were on PC as of yet, but the RPG has hit a peak of almost 86,000 concurrent players on Steam since its release.
