Virtuos is opening a new studio in Warsaw

Outsourcing giant Virtuos is opening a new outpost in Warsaw, Poland.

The venture – part of the Virtuos Labs division – is headed up by rendering lead Peter Sikachev, who previously worked at People Can Fly, CD Projekt and Eidos Montreal.

This new Warsaw studio is the third outpost of Virtuos Lab, joining other offices in Lyon and Montpellier. These were opened in 2021 and 2022 respectively. It will be focusing on graphical rendering and optimisation tech

“Poland is one of the world’s largest exporters of games and our expansion into Warsaw enables us to meet the increasing demand for engineering solutions," Virtuos' Western region MD Christophe Gandon said.

"Virtuos Labs’ unique set-up empowers experts like Peter to grow their dream teams to work on advanced solutions, while providing clients a cost-effective alternative to maintaining a large, fixed team, so they can better adapt to market conditions.”
