Domina review bombed after anti-mask patch notes

Indie title Domina has been review bombed after its developer put a load of anti-mask nonsense into the project's latest patch notes.

Amid detailing updates to the gladiator management game, the studio – Dolphin Barn – went on a tirade about, er, if you wear a mask you are afraid and this is the reason why men aren't getting laid. At the time of writing, Domina boasts "mostly negative" reviews on Steam.

"TAKE OFF THE FCKN MASKS," the patch notes said.

"Next time you're at the grocery store, try showing a woman your face. Be confident, unafraid of the LIES - you might get a girlfriend. Women like confidence. Women don't like dudes who cover their faces in fear. What are you afraid of? Getting laid? Grow up."

Taking to Twiter in the wake of these patch notes being published, Dolphin Barn has framed this as suggesting that people have courage and seems to think that they are the victim of cancel culture.

PC Gamer notes that this isn't the first time that Dolphin Barn has slipped something like this into its patch notes. Back in May 2021, there was some weird rant about men being weak and this is something to do with porn.
