Tencent launches Level Infinite publishing label

Chinese tech and entertainment giant Tencent has opened up a new publishing label called Level Infinite.

This new venture is going to be bringing "high-quality games" to people around the world. On launch, these titles include Synced: Off Planet – from Tencent's own Next Studios – as well as other projects from other Tencent's first-party developers, such as Lightspeed & Quantum and Timi, and third-party developers.

Level Infinite will also be helping out with other titles from studios that Tencent has a financial relationship with, such as Fatshark's Warhammer: Vermintide 2.

The outfit is based in Amsterdam and Singapore and will be helping developers out with production, tech and games-as-a-service analysis.

"Level Infinite's launch represents the next stage in Tencent Games' evolution as a global publisher and trusted brand," global CEO Michelle Liu said.

"We look forward to bringing gamers high-quality titles wherever and however they play."
