Games platform Roblox says that it had 48.2 million daily active users for the month of August.
That's according to the firm's latest monthly report on its investor relations portal, which reports that this is a 32 per cent increase year-on-year as well as a four per cent rise on July 2021.
Roblox also reported a 32 per cent increase in the number of hours played for the month – four billion – which is also a five per cent increase from the 3.8 billion hours that users clocked up in July. Meanwhile, bookings for the month are apparently around $220 million – an increase of roughly 30 per cent year-on-year – though the average amount spent by players has reportedly dropped by between one and two per cent.
Revenue for the month, however, is set to be between $167 million and $170 million for the period, an increase of roughly 100 per cent year-on-year.
Roblox went public in March of 2021. As of April of this year, the platform boasted 202 million monthly active users.
