One month after we first reported Valve's announcement of its portable PC platform, Steam Deck, Valve has added a new video to its YouTube channel.

Titled 'Introducing Steam Deck', you won't be surprised to learn that it offers potential users a quick overview of the forthcoming hardware. Full-sized thumbsticks - quick swipe at Nintendo's Switch, we wonder? - analogue triggers, assignable buttons, multi-touch display, track pads and gyroscope all add up to offer, "Portable gaming without compromise".

Starting at £349 for the 64GB version, the Steam Deck begins shipping this December.
