Ubisoft adds Immortals, Riders Republic and Prince of Persia remake to launch slate

French publishing giant Ubisoft has added a slew of new releases to its line-up.

At its Forward event yesterday, the company revealed that the recently-rebranded Immortals: Fenyx Rising is set for launch on December 3rd. Meanwhile, a remake of the beloved 2003 title Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time is set to be released on January 21st. Ubisoft's Pune and Mumbai studios are helming that title.

The following month, open-world extreme sports title Riders Republic is set to roll out with a February 25th date. That title has been developed by Ubisoft Annecy, best known for 2016 winter sports title Steep.

Ubisoft is still supporting VR, too, with space title AGOS: A Game of Space and Far Cry VR: Dive into Insanity, which are slated for release on October 28th and next year respectively.

Hours before the event took place, Ubisoft boss Yves Guillemot released a video apologising for the staff who fell victim to abuse at the company. The firm came under fire for not releasing this as part of the Forward marketing event.
