Publisher My.Games has partnered with Polish studio The Farm 51.
The partnership is for the developer's upcoming multiplayer shooter, World War 3. The Farm 51 will retain its creative vision whilst being given the resources and expertise to expand upon the scale of the game.
To create an authentic experience, maps are based on real-world locations, and the studio is working with military experts.
"We are happy to announce the partnership with My.Games and benefit from their wealth of experience in publishing multiplayer shooters," said Kamil Bilczynski, Creative Director and Co-Founder of The Farm 51.
"Our collaboration with My.Games ensures that we can take a truly global approach to publishing World War 3, while remaining faithful to our original vision for the game as we work to enhance its core gameplay, polish mechanics, and push the boundaries of the overall scale of the project."
No release date has been given. However, the military shooter will soon become unavailable in Early Access on Steam until further details can be given. Those who have already purchased it will still be able to play.
"World War 3 is a game with enormous potential, and we believe that our partnership with The Farm 51 will allow it to become one of the best large-scale online military shooters on the market," said My.Games head of global operations Alexey Izotov.
My.Games was behind 35 per cent of its parent company Mail.ru's revenue in Q1 2020.
