Goodbye Kansas Game Invest rebrands following THQ Nordic acquisition

Say, um, goodbye to Goodbye Kansas Game Invest and say hello to Amplifier Game Invest.

The money folks have rebranded in the wake of the firm's acquisition last year by European publishing giant THQ Nordic but has said that the internal workings of the company remain the same.

"Our focus remains the same - to enter long-term partnerships with talented game developers across the globe and help them to reach their goals," CEO Per-Arne Lundberg (pictured) said.

"They are the stars and our job is to amplify their work, team and business."

He continued: "2020 will be an exciting year for Amplifier Game Invest. We already view ourselves as the most ambitious and most indie-friendly equity investor in games, and we will continue to work with our current partner studios as well as to help talented teams to start-up their business and invest in already existing game companies."

The investment firm was acquired by THQ Nordic in August 2019.
