THQ Nordic acquires Metricminds

European publishing giant THQ Nordic has made yet another acquisition, this time buying Frankfurst-based animation studio Metricminds.

No figure has been placed on the deal, which sees the company behind an entirely-owned subsidiary of THQ Nordic.

Metricminds was founded back in 2001 and has worked on a huge number of triple-A titles, including Horizon Zero Dawn, the recently-released Horizon Forbidden West, Dying Light and Barman Arkham Origins.

The core team of 40 members of staff have been keep on following the deal.
