Canadian singer-songwriter Grimes is the voice actress for a frontwoman in Cyberpunk 2077.

The news was revealed at The Game Awards 2019, CD Projekt Red released a behind the scenes trailer for music in Cyberpunk 2077 (below).

Grimes is voicing Lizzy Wizzy, the lead singer for the in-game bands Lizzy Wizzy and Metadwarves.

Besides the Candian star, other artists contributing to the game include Run the Jewels, Refused, A$AP Rocky, Gazelle Twin, Ilan Rubin, Richard Devine, Nina Kraviz, Deadly Hunta, Rat Boy and Tina Guo.

Back in July, it was revealed that Refused would have a voice acting role in the Sci-fi RPG. According to PCGamer, the band is portraying in-game band Samurai.

In October the publisher confirmed that microtransactions would not be added to its eagerly-awaited title.
