Surgeon Simulator and Worlds Adrift developer Bossa Studios has lifted the lid on what Valve alum Chet Faliszek is doing at the game maker.
The firm says that the Portal writer is working on new ways to push the boundaries of storytelling within games via the use of AI. The developer says this is in line with its mission of using new tech to create "memorable experiences".
The developer has even done a talk on the subject (below).
“We are looking at AI as a means to create bigger games, allowing the players to experience deeper, more meaningful stories tailored to them,” CTO Sylvain Cornillon said.
Faliszek joined Bossa back in September.
Bossa is also working on an ambitious MMO called Worlds Adrift that makes use of Improbable's SpatialOS technology.
Earlier this year, the studio raised $10m in Series A funding, part of which is going into the development of AI.
