Epic’s Fornite isn’t even finished yet, but is racking up players pretty fast.
In a tweet from the game’s official account, the team behind Fortnite thanked the first 1m players.
While it says players and doesn’t note copies solid, it’s fair to assume that game sales for the base-building game are in the region of 1m thus far.
The title launched at the end of July, selling 500,000 units in its first 24 hours.
Following that, PCGamesInsider.biz caught up with creative director Darren Sugg to see why half a million people paid for Fornite when it is going free-to-play next year anyways.
