CHARTS: Borderlands 4 debuts at No.1 on Steam

Looter shooter Borderlands 4 was the highest grossing title on Steam last week.

The game launched on September 11th and has appeared to sell pretty well despite reports of performance problems on PC. The boss of developer Gearbox, Randy Pitchford has defended the title's performance, saying it is "pretty damn optimal".

Counter-Strike 2 has to once again settle for second place, while PUBG: Battlegrounds rose two spots to third on the back of a G-Dragon lucky draw event. Hollow Knight: Silksong fell three positions to No.4 after debuting at the top of the charts, but the metroidvania hit came in ahead of Steam Deck, which shot up two spots.

NetEase's hero shooter Marvel Rivals returned to the Top Ten in sixth – up 13 positions – thanks to the new season Heart of the Dragon content. Helldivers 2 dropped three places to seventh, while Path of Exile 2 appears to return to the Top 100 thanks to a new update.

NBA 2K26 dropped three spots to ninth while new roguelite Shape of Dreams from developer Lizard Smoothie and Lies of P publisher Neowiz rounds out the charts following its September 11th debut.
