CHARTS: Mafia The Old Country debuts at No.3 on Steam

The latest entry in the Mafia franchise was the third highest-grossing title on Steam last week.

The Old Country debuted on August 7th and has released to mixed reviews, though that appears to have not affected its commercial potential. Counter-Strike 2 was once again the biggest title on Steam last week, while pre-orders for Battlefield 6 rose one spot to second on the back of hype surrounding the open beta which has seen content creators sharing gameplay from the upcoming military shooter.

Valve's Steam Deck hardware hung in fourth place, while Cyberpunk 2077 returned to the Top Ten in fifth on the back of a discount. Marvel Rivals also rose up four spots to No.6, likely due to its inclusion in the Steam Multiplayer Games Fest.

Indie smash hit Peak rose up one spot to seventh, while a new season bumps Apex Legends up six positions to No.8. Rust from Facepunch Studios took ninth place – up 17 spots week-on-week – thanks to a 50 per cent price cut

Rounding off the Steam Top Ten is Street Fighter 6, which is currently 25 per cent off.

Here is the Steam Top Ten for the week ending August 12th:

1. Counter-Strike 2, Valve
2. Battlefield 6, EA (P)
3. Mafia: The Old Country, 2K Games
4. Steam Deck, Valve
5. Cyberpunk 2077, CD Projekt
6. Marvel Rivals, NetEase
