Coatsink's founders are leaving the company

The founders of indie developer and publisher Coatsink are leaving the company after 14 years.

The company has announced that CEO Tom Beardsmore and CDO Paul Crabb, alongside COO Eddie Beardsmore, will be departing the company before the end of the year. Coatsink veteran Richard Snowdon (pictured) will be stepping into the chief executive officer; he joined the company in 2015 as head of production before being promoted to head of studio in 2022. Prior to that, his career includes stints at Eutechnyx, Double Eleven and Accenture.

“Tom, Paul, and Eddie built a world-class studio with a unique culture creating innovative IP with a wicked sense of humour, and I’m committed to carrying that forward," Snowdon said.

“We have some incredible projects in the works, working with amazing partners, and I can’t wait to see where we take Coatsink next.”

Beardsmore added: “Founding and growing Coatsink with Paul, Eddie, and the entire team has been an incredible journey. We’re proud of what we have built together with our visionary team, partners, and the studios we have worked with over the last 15 years. We are excited to hand over the reins to Rich to take Coatsink into its next chapter of growth and creativity. Thank you for being part of this journey with us.”
