Report: Don't Nod is making layoffs

French developer Don't Nod is apparently making layoffs. 

That's going by posts on LinkedIn from staff, in which they said that they had been part of yet another wave of job cuts. The layoffs have apparently come as a shock to workers at the company. 

Don't Nod is the company behing Lost Records: Bloom and Rage, Justant and Remember Me. The studio recently announced Aphelion.  

"I am saddened to say I was part of yet another wave of layoffs affecting the video game industry," senior game and level designer Mathieu Tremblay wrote on LinkedIn.

"I am incredibly proud of what the team at Don't Nod Montreal accomplished with Lost Records: Bloom and Rage and shipping the game with this level of quality was nothing short of a miracle in the circumstances. I wish for all others affected by this wave of layoffs to land on their feet quickly, as they are truly exceptional people."

It's not clear how many staff are affected, though going by posts on LinkedIn, it does appear that its workers from Don't Nod's Montreal office.
